The starting point
"Dinner with sea views" in Tenerife usually means a terrace with cars behind
The southern area is full of restaurants that promise sea views. Most of them are terraces on the front line, correct, with the promenade in front and the noise of the street behind. It's okay, but it's not what you imagine when you think about dining in front of the Atlantic.
The alternatives that do involve water are dinner shows on large ships: set menu, shared tables, entertainment and return time. It works as an excursion, not as a dinner.
And what almost no one offers is the most obvious: a boat stopped, at anchor, with your table and no one else on board.
The proposal
The boat anchored, the table set and the engine off
A dinner on a boat in Tenerife with us it is a private afternoon-night departure from Marina del Sur. You sail along the southwest coast at sunset, anchor in a sheltered spot and have dinner on board with the boat stationary. Your group and the skipper are on board, no one else.
About food there are two ways and both work. The first: you bring whatever you want — the boats have a full kitchen, refrigerator, oven, kitchenware and table. It is the most economical and what is done the most. The second: we coordinate it with catering, and on several ships there is also the option of a hostess who takes care of the service.
In the Canary Islands winter the sun sets early, which works in its favor: an afternoon outing ends up being dinner with a sunset without the need to extend it until late in the morning.

The boats have a complete kitchen with oven, refrigerator, kitchenware and table for the entire group. It is the most economical option and, for many, part of the grace.

On the Jeanneau Yacht 54, the Sun Odyssey 490 and the Sun Odyssey 440 you can hire a hostess in addition to the skipper: he takes care of the service and meals.

Own fleet, not a marketplace. The boat you reserve is maintained, inspected and delivered by us. We do not put you in contact with an unknown owner and we move away.
The check-in is done by a sailor. Not an administrator with a signature sheet: someone who knows the anchorages of the island, the accelerations of the channels and at what time it is convenient to cross.
Support throughout the charter. Our technical team is contactable for the days that your rental lasts. If something arises on board, we solve it without you wasting the week.

You confirm with 50%
50% blocks the reservation and the remaining 50% is paid four weeks before boarding. Until that first payment there is no commitment of any kind.

Check-in at Marina del Sur or Marina Santa Cruz with a briefing from a team navigator: the boat, the area, the part and the anchorages. No rush.

Is dinner included in the price?
Not standard. The price is that of the boat with skipper. The food is separate, and you have two options: bring it yourself - the most common and cheapest option - or ask us to coordinate catering, which is priced according to group and menu.
We separate it this way on purpose: a mandatory closed menu makes the trip more expensive and it doesn't fit for many people.
Is there a real kitchen on board?
Yes. The fleet's boats are cruise ships: kitchen with stove and oven, refrigerator, sink, complete kitchenware and table for the entire group.
It is not an improvised office: they are boats designed to live on board for a week, so cooking and dining properly is solved.
Do you dine while sailing or at anchor?
At anchor, always. Dining while sailing is neither comfortable nor practical. The usual thing is to sail during the sunset, anchor in a sheltered area and have dinner with the boat stationary.
The anchorage is chosen by the skipper according to the wind component of the day, looking for the calmest place possible.
Can a chef or service be hired on board?
We coordinate catering, and on the Jeanneau Yacht 54, the Sun Odyssey 490 and the Sun Odyssey 440 there is an option of hostess who takes care of the service and meals.
The skipper, on the other hand, does not cook: his job is to run the boat. It is advisable to be clear when planning.
How long does the departure last?
Between three and five hours, depending on whether you want just dinner or dinner with prior navigation and sunset. In winter the sun sets early, so an afternoon outing fits in well without being too long.

Is it suitable for a marriage proposal?
It is one of the things for which they write to us the most. The private boat at anchor, with the coast illuminated in front and no one else on board, is a difficult scenario to overcome.
Let us know if there is a surprise involved and the skipper takes it into account when positioning the boat and the moment.
How many people can there be for dinner?
From 6 to 11 people depending on the boat. The Lagoon catamarans are the most comfortable for a group dinner: the outside table is at the same height as the living room and can accommodate everyone seated.
Do I need a nautical license?
No. The output carries professional pattern included, who is responsible for the boat. You go as passengers on a private boat.
