The starting point
Organizing a farewell in Tenerife is a coordination exercise
You are between six and twelve people, You come from different places, you have a weekend and someone—usually just one—has to put everything together. And the island's offer for groups is either very touristy or very dispersed: a shared excursion where you can't fit together, a restaurant where you can't play music, a party on land that you could have in any city.
The thing about the boat usually appears in the conversation and then it is discarded because no one knows how it works: if a license is needed, how many people can fit, if you can bring drinks, if they are going to object because of the volume.
And there is a reasonable fear of bottom line: that you end up paying a lot for a generic experience shared with fifty other people you don't know.
The proposal
A whole boat, one afternoon and no rules that are not yours
A farewell by boat in Tenerife with us it is a private outing on board one of the 14 ships in the fleet. Only your group and the professional skipper. You choose the time, the duration, the route and the music.
The usual thing is three or four hours in the afternoon along the south coast, with a swimming stop in a quiet anchorage —Palm-Mar, Playa Paraíso, the coast of Adeje— and return at sunset. You can also set up a full day if the group has the day free.
You can bring your drink, food and decorations; The boats have a refrigerator, kitchen and sound system. And it comes with pattern included, so no one in the group needs a qualification or has to worry about anything nautical.

How many of you are
It's the first thing. The fleet ranges from 6 to 11 seats; Lagoon catamarans accommodate 8 and 9 with four bathrooms, which for a group is the most comfortable configuration. If there are more of you, we coordinate two boats sailing together.

How long
Three or four hours in the afternoon is the standard format. A full day includes long anchorage, food on board and snorkeling. In winter the sun sets early, so an afternoon outing ends in sunset without intending to.

The music is yours
The boats have sound equipment and you can play whatever you want. In unlimited navigation; in port and at anchorages with other boats nearby, in moderation. It's the only rule we set.

The bathroom stop
It's what saves any farewell. The water on the south coast does not drop below 19–20 °C even in the middle of winter, so the bath works all twelve months. The anchorage is chosen by the skipper according to the wind of the day.

Drinks and food
Bring whatever you want: there is a refrigerator, a full kitchen and kitchenware. It is the most economical by far. If you prefer not to worry, we coordinate catering on board.

The check-in is done by a sailor. Not an administrator with a signature sheet: someone who knows the island's anchorages, the accelerations of the channels and what time it is best to cross.

How many people can fit on the boat?
From 6 to 11 seats depending on the boat. The Lagoon catamarans accept 8 and 9 people with four bathrooms, which for a farewell group is the most comfortable.
For day trips without an overnight stay, the capacity may be somewhat greater on some boats. And if there are fifteen or twenty of you, we coordinate two boats sailing together, which is also a lot of fun.
Can we bring a drink and play our music?
Yes to both things. The boats have a refrigerator, full kitchen and sound system. You bring your drink, your food and your list.
The only thing: in port and in anchorages shared with other boats, the volume must be moderated. In navigation, no problem.
Does anyone in the group need a nautical qualification?
No. The departure carries professional skipper included, who is responsible for the boat. The entire group goes as a passenger on a private boat.
Is it shared with other groups?
Never. The boat is exclusively yours throughout the entire outing: your group and the skipper come on board.
This is the difference with the excursions to Los Cristianos or Puerto Colón, where you share a large capacity boat with a fixed schedule and route.
How long does it last and what format do you recommend?
Three or four hours in the afternoon is what is most frequently booked: enough time to sail, anchor, bathe and return at sunset. sun.
If the group has the day off, the full day of six to eight hours also allows for eating on board and snorkeling without rushing.
Can the group swim?
Yes, and it is practically mandatory. The south coast has calm anchorages a short distance from the base and the water does not drop below 19–20 °C even in the middle of winter.
The specific anchorage is decided by the skipper according to the wind component that day.
Are there behavioral limits on board?
Those of common sense and those established by safety at sea. The skipper is responsible for the boat and his word rules in everything that affects the safety of the group.
Beyond that, it is your party. We only ask that the boat returns in reasonable condition: cleaning is included, but it doesn't work miracles.
How much does it cost?
Depends on the available boat, duration and date. We do not publish a fixed rate because a Tuesday in January and a Saturday during Easter do not cost the same.
The skipper is included and there is no intermediary commission. Divided among ten people it usually comes out much more reasonable than people estimate. Write to us and we will give you a closed quote.
