A farewell by boat in Mallorca is probably the strongest format for a bachelorette party — it beats the beach club, restaurant dinner, and hotel party in almost every objective criterion. Your exclusive space (you don't share the boat with strangers), music and drinks that you bring (no club prices), swimming stop in a cove (something that no place on land can offer), and the general feeling of privilege that comes from being in the sea under the Mallorcan sun.
In ECC you have 15 boats available between sailboats and catamarans. For groups of 6-8 people, a half-day sailboat with skipper (~€850, ~€110/p) is the most balanced option. For groups of 10-12, the Lagoon 43 or Lagoon 46 catamaran gives more space and stability without heeling — ideal if half the group is "non-boating." The Lagoon 43 motor catamaran is especially recommended for groups that value speed.
The skipper is professional, discreet and knows perfectly well what his role is in a farewell: he takes the boat, proposes the berth, maintains security — and leaves you your space. The season runs from May to October, with maximum demand in June, July and August: for Saturdays in those months, it is best to book 4-6 weeks in advance. How many people can fit?
Small sailboats (Cotufa, Tizón): 6-8 people. Medium sailboats (Akilina, Tomeu, Majadero, Katalina): 8-10. Large sailboats (Joulukka, Le Grand, Tefiti, Tasmanian Devil, Little Mia): 10-12. Catamarans (Ky Dong, Machango): 9-10. For groups of 14+ we value two boats in a flotilla. Balearic regulations allow up to 12 pax on day charters on any boat with appropriate approval.
How much does it cost per person?
Half day sailing with group of 8: ~110€/p. Full day sailing with group of 8: ~165€/p. Catamaran half day with group of 9: ~170€/p. Catamaran day with group of 10: ~220€/p. If you add catering (~25-€55/p) and drinks (~20€/p), the average farewell price is around 150-250€/p. Comparable or cheaper than an expensive dinner + drinks at a club.
Can we bring our own drinks and food?
Yes, totally. The boat has a large refrigerator with ice. The most common option: you bring beers, wine, soft drinks and snacks (ham, cheese, fruit). If you prefer to delegate, we coordinate catering from €25/p (appetizer) to €55/p (lunch on board). There is no corkage or restriction.
Can you play music at full volume?

Is a nautical qualification required?
No. All goodbyes go with professional pattern included. You are passengers, the skipper provides the qualifications and responsibility for navigation. You dedicate yourselves to the party, he to the boat.
Are there restrictions (nudity, games, etc.)?
The normal ones for any boat: respect for the boat's equipment (do not break, do not stain furniture, do not smoke below deck), respect for the skipper, caution with alcohol near the side, and common sense. The employer may ask to reduce reckless behavior (dangerous jumps, etc.) for safety. Otherwise, it's your party.
How far in advance do you have to reserve?
For Saturdays in June, July and August: 4-6 weeks in advance, minimum. It is the most popular slot of the year. For midweek or for May, early June, September and October: 2-3 weeks is usually enough. If you want a specific boat (catamaran, luxury yacht), go further ahead. Write for WhatsApp with date and group.
