At ECC Yacht Charter, we do not operate unlicensed small boats. We operate a fleet of 15 boats in Mallorca —sailboats from 38 to 55 feet and two Lagoon catamarans— and any of them can be chartered with professional pattern. You embark as a passenger, you don't need any qualifications, and you discover Mallorca aboard a ship that feels like a floating hotel.
If what you strictly need is a boat under 5m <15 HP For a short, one-off trip, we're not the best option—but we can offer some guidance. If you're looking for the authentic experience of a day (or a week) sailing the Balearic Islands without needing any certification, we're exactly who you need. The season runs from May to October.

Can I take a half-day or full-day excursion without a license?

What does the professional pattern include?
A certified navigator from our team will captain the boat for the duration of the rental. They will handle maneuvering, navigation, anchoring, weather conditions, and any technical issues.
The skipper's fee is €1,500/week on the sailboat and €1,800/week on either of the two catamarans (on the Machango, it is mandatory and separate, not included in the boat price). The skipper's meals on board are at the client's expense as a shared cost.
Can I participate in sailing even if I'm with a skipper?

Can I sleep on board if I'm traveling with a skipper?
Yes, weekly skippered charters always include overnight stays on board. The skipper sleeps in a separate cabin. Privacy is respected—the skipper moves discreetly and does not participate in the social life on board.
