A boat party in Mallorca It's basically a private beach club for your group—but with the cove as your backdrop, no nightclub prices, and the freedom to play your own music and bring your own drinks. For festive groups (special birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, get-togethers with friends, informal corporate events), it's a clear winner over land-based options. More privacy, more memorable moments, and better value for money when done right.

The plan is flexible. For daytime parties (10:00-18:00 or 11:00-19:00), catamaran Or a large sailboat with a spacious deck and onboard sound system. Why a boat party?

Why a boat party beats any beach club

These are the six arguments why a boat party is objectively better for your group than the land-based alternative.

🔒

Your exclusive space

Your group, your boat. You don't share a deck, a table, or a pool with strangers. The difference compared to a crowded beach club or a nightclub is enormous—the party is truly yours.

🎵

Your music

Bring your own playlist (via Bluetooth to the boat's system) or hire a DJ on board. No queuing for the DJ at the venue, no "I won't play that," no genre restrictions. Music at a reasonable volume while sailing, maximum allowed in anchored coves.

🍻

Drinks without prices at the nightclub

You bring your own drinks (beer, wine, soft drinks, mixed drinks) at no extra cost and without absurd surcharges. A case of beer at the supermarket vs. individual beers at a nightclub: easy savings of €200-€400 for a group of 10. The boat has a large cooler with ice.

🏖️

Bathing stop at cove

The element that no beach club or disco can offer: the skipper anchors in a cove, and you go down into the water to the music. Jumping off the boat, playing in the water, a refreshing swim in the middle of summer. This is what makes the party different and memorable.

📸

Guaranteed content

Boat party photos are the ones that get shared the most. Sunset from the deck, a group on the bow with drinks, a backlit jump into the water. If there are influencers or creators in your group, the boat party will provide them with content for months.

👨‍✈️

Discreet pattern

The skipper handles the boat—anchoring, managing safety, monitoring the weather. But he stays in his area and gives you your space. He doesn't join in the fun or interfere. If you need anything, you call him; otherwise, you won't even notice.

Preguntas frecuentes

The most frequently asked questions about boat parties

How many people can it hold?

Medium-sized sailboats (Akilina, Tomeu, Majadero, Katalina): Comfortable for 8-10 people, ideal for parties. Large sailboats (Joulukka, Le Grand, Tefiti, Tasmanian Devil, Little Mia): 10-12 people. Catamarans (Ky Dong, 9 people; Machango, 8 people): Excellent space for a festive group. For groups of 14+, we recommend two boats in a flotilla—the most spectacular option for a large group.

Can we hire a DJ on board?

Yes, we can arrange that. We work with local DJs who have a setup specifically designed for boats (compact controller, powered speakers compatible with the boat's network). The cost varies depending on the number of hours, the DJ's skill level, and whether they bring their own sound system or use the boat's—please request a fixed price quote with the date and times. This is definitely recommended for large groups; for small groups, your playlist is usually sufficient.

Can we bring our own drinks and food?

Yes, absolutely — at no extra cost and with no restrictions. The boat has a large cooler with ice (it easily fits drinks and snacks for 8-12 people all day). Recommended: canned beer (not fragile glass bottles), wine and mixers, water, and snacks (ham, cheese, fruit, etc.). A large trash bag is provided for disposal upon return.

What is the maximum volume for the music?

Reasonable volume for a party atmosphere, yes. "Nightclub" volume, no—there are maritime noise regulations, especially when anchored near other boats in a cove. The skipper sets the maximum volume. For a more intense party with powerful sound, a larger boat or catamaran with a powerful system is better, or hire a DJ who knows how to handle the volume. Realistic: party atmosphere, yes, not a rave.

How much does it cost per person?

Half-day sailing trip (8 pax): ~€110/person. Half-day catamaran (9 pax): ~€170/person. Full day catamaran (10 pax): ~€220/person. If you add a DJ (~€250-€500) and drinks you bring (~€20/person), the total cost of the party is between €150-€280/person. Comparable to or cheaper than a VIP nightclub entry + drinks — and the experience is clearly better.

Are there rules to respect?

The usual rules for any boat: respect for the equipment (don't break things, don't stain furniture, don't smoke below deck), respect for the skipper, be careful with alcohol near the gunwale and especially with jumping into the water, and use common sense. The skipper may ask you to reduce reckless behavior (dangerous jumps, people hanging from the balcony) for safety reasons. Otherwise, your party is your party.

Is it suitable for specific celebrations (birthdays, farewells)?

Yes, perfect. We have a specific page with details for bachelor/bachelorette parties: boat parties. For special birthdays (30th, 40th, 50th), group anniversaries, or gatherings with friends, a boat party is the perfect choice. We can coordinate small details (cake, flowers, light decorations) if you request them in advance.
