Why a sailboat

Why a sailboat and not a catamaran?

The monohull is the choice for those who truly want to sail. It offers stability in windy conditions, greater upwind speed, and a significantly more accessible price than the equivalent catamaran.

A sailboat performs better under sail on upwind passages. If you're sailing from Palma to Cabrera or from Mallorca to Ibiza, you'll arrive faster under wind than with a catamaran of the same length.

💶

Much more affordable price

For less than €3,000/week you can have an 8-berth sailboat in Mallorca. equivalent catamaran It costs between €7,200 and €11,500 per week — three times as much, with no additional capacity. And port berths cost half as much as a catamaran of the same length.

Suitable draft for the Balearic Islands

Our sailboats have a draft of between 1.8 and 2.2 meters. Enough to anchor comfortably in any cove in Mallorca, Ibiza, or Menorca without having to leave the boat far from the shore.
